Who's Behind The Blog

Greg Farr

I retired from a job, not life.

The job was as a school principal - nearly four decades in public school administration. I left the job itself, but I still consider myself to be a life-long learner and teacher.

While employed as a public servant, I had to filter sharing certain aspects of my life which would not have been politically prudent or even acceptable to share.

In effect, this blog is my personal Declaration of Independence.  I will be able to discuss issues which heretofore I avoided for fear of creating career problems, offending strangers, or possibly losing friends.

The title expresses the motivations and underlying frustrations on which many the posts will be based.

I sincerely hope I will encounter readers who will become engaged with me in discussions.  I love affirmation as much as I love challenges.  Please drop by often.

Perhaps I will push a button and make you laugh, cry, become angry, motivated, or just spark a thought you can share.
